Matt Wilkinson is a writer director in theatre and film.

Theatre includes Psychodrama (Never For Ever, London / Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe), nominated for Off Fest Award for Best Theatre and two Off West End Awards; My Eyes Went Dark (Finborough / Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe / 59E59Theaters New York) nominated for three Off West End Awards including Best Play; Sun is Shining (Kings Head / BAC Time Out Critics' Choice Season / 59E59Theaters NYC).

Other work: Red Sea Fish (Brighton Pavilion / 59E59Theaters NYC); Just Let Go (Chisenhall Dance) and the adaptation of Hideki Noda’s Red Demon (Young Vic / Theatre Cocoon Tokyo). His short films have screened in Berlin, London, Paris, Havana, Nashville, Siena.

New plays include Snow Child, from the novel by Eowyn Ivey, and No Time For Dreaming, a gig theatre piece about US soul singer Charles Bradley. He is currently developing Psychodrama for the screen.
